We’ve always preached that that a company’s logo and it’s website are some of the most important digital assets a company needs to invest in.

It was important to Howie’s Premium Subs & Shakes that we hit the mark with certain aspects regarding their logo redesign.

We began with updating their logo with a “stamp” format that included the nautical star and stencil font. This gave it the military-inspired feel and look the company was looking for. The nautical star also alludes to the service of Bobby Howard as a medic in the Navy.

Fun fact: This symbol is part of the tradition of sailor tattoos. A nautical star represented the North Star, with the idea that this symbol would help a sailor navigate or stay on course, including finding their way back to port or back home.

This logo served as the foundation for many aspects of their marketing initiatives, such as their website design, print material, digital ads and more.
